2. Enter Your Email Address And Choose How You Want To Be Notified.

3. Please Scroll Down The List To A Category Called “NEWS FLASH” (Last Category) .

4. Under NEWS FLASH–Scroll Down To Planning And Development Services-Burn Ban Information

5. To Be Added To The Notification List–Click On The Icon To The Left For Email And/Or Cell Phone Notification

6. Once You Confirm Your Subscription To The List, When A Burn Ban Is Enacted Or Lifted You Will Be Notified.

Outdoor Burning Is Prohibited In Washington State Within Incorporated Cities And Their Urban Growth Area (UGS) With The Exception Of Recreational Fires, Provided It Is Contained In An Approved Fire Container. Outdoor Burning Of Natural Vegetation Is Allowed Outside Of The UGA With A Permit From The Whatcom County Fire Marshal's Office Or The Department Of Natural Resources.
